Description

A superb original 1997 double-vinyl pressing of U2 – Pop, issued by Island Records as the limited-edition U2 10 release. Original 1997 vinyl copies are increasingly desirable because Pop arrived firmly in the CD era, when vinyl production was dramatically lower than it had been during U2’s earlier career. This edition is identifiable by its U2 10 catalogue number and MASTERDISK inscriptions across all four sides. Musically, Pop represents one of U2’s most experimental periods, combining the band’s rock sound with electronic, dance and alternative influences.

Condition

Sleeve: EX
The original gatefold sleeve presents extremely well with only minor signs of previous storage and handling. The distinctive artwork remains clean and sharp, with strong edges and only very light age-related wear. Overall, a particularly well-preserved original 1997 sleeve.

Vinyl: EX
Both records present beautifully with clean, glossy playing surfaces and only minimal signs of previous handling or play. Any visible marks are extremely light and superficial, with all four sides comfortably deserving the EX grade.

Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition assessment.
