Description

A genuine UK mono pressing of Revolver, widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential albums ever recorded. Released in 1966, it marked a dramatic leap forward in The Beatles' songwriting and studio experimentation, producing timeless classics including Taxman, Eleanor Rigby, Here, There And Everywhere, Yellow Submarine and Tomorrow Never Knows. This example features the desirable XEX 605-2 / XEX 606-2 matrix combination housed in its original Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve with the original EMI Emitex inner sleeve. Despite grading VG visually due to light surface marks, playback comfortably exceeds appearance, offering a highly enjoyable listening experience with only some light background crackle in quieter sections.

Condition

Sleeve: VG+
The original Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve remains in very good plus condition. The front artwork retains a strong appearance with only light age-related wear and laminate creasing. The rear panel is clean and fully legible, with intact flipbacks and no writing or seam splits. A very respectable original sleeve.

Vinyl: VG (Appearance) / VG+ (Playback)
The vinyl retains an attractive sheen with some light surface marks visible, grading VG visually. Playback is considerably stronger, delivering a clean and enjoyable listen throughout with only some light background crackle in quieter passages and between tracks. Music remains powerful and clear with no significant clicks, skips or repeating faults. A very solid playing copy. Original EMI 'Use New Emitex' inner sleeve included.

Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition assessment.
