Description

A rare Capitol Canada experimental coloured-vinyl pressing using the metalwork for Tavares’ Love Storm, pressed on translucent pale pink vinyl with unrelated Edith Piaf Capitol labels.

This was not a standard commercial issue. The mismatched labels are characteristic of the Capitol Canada colour-test experiment, where available stampers and spare labels were used during in-house coloured-vinyl trials. It is offered primarily as a collectible pressing-plant artefact.

“CCT2024-9” is treated as a later collector/database reference rather than an original Capitol catalogue number.

Condition

Sleeve: Not graded
The original annotated test sleeve is included.

The record shows substantial surface wear and is sold primarily as a collector’s piece rather than a listening copy.
