Description

Offered here is an excellent copy of Talking Heads – Chicago, August 28, 1978, pressed by DOL on heavyweight 180g vinyl. This album documents the band's celebrated performance at Park West, Chicago, recorded on 28 August 1978 during the More Songs About Buildings and Food tour. The concert was originally broadcast by Chicago radio station WXRT and captures Talking Heads as they were evolving from the minimalist sound of Talking Heads: 77 into one of the defining bands of the post-punk era. The set features early live versions of classics including Psycho Killer, Take Me To The River, The Big Country, Warning Sign, Artists Only, Stay Hungry and The Book I Read. Sourced from the original FM broadcast, the recording offers an energetic snapshot of the band before their landmark run of classic studio albums.

Sleeve: EX+
Excellent condition with crisp edges, sharp corners and clean artwork. Only the faintest signs of storage. A superb example.

Vinyl: EX
Beautiful glossy vinyl with very little evidence of play. Clean labels and excellent playback throughout. Includes original DOL inner sleeve.
