Description

A genuine UK first pressing of The Works, Queen's hugely successful 1984 studio album that marked the band's return to a more guitar-driven sound and produced several of their biggest international hits. This example features the desirable EMC 2400141 A-1-1-2-X-1 STERLING / EMC 2400141 B-2-1-2-1 STERLING matrix combination together with the original picture sleeve and original lyric inner sleeve. Containing classics including Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, Hammer To Fall and It's A Hard Life, this remains one of Queen's finest 1980s releases and an increasingly collectible original UK pressing.

Condition

Sleeve: EX
The original picture sleeve remains in excellent condition. The artwork is clean and vibrant with only the lightest signs of storage and handling. The spine is fully intact and readable, with no seam splits or major defects. A superb example.

Vinyl: EX
Retains an outstanding deep gloss across both sides with only the faintest signs of previous handling visible under strong light. Playback is excellent throughout with crisp, dynamic sound and no significant interference. A superb original UK pressing. Original lyric inner sleeve included.

Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition assessment.
