Description

An original 1984 US pressing of Lou Reed's New Sensations, issued on RCA Victor under catalogue number AFL1-4998. This copy is an Indianapolis pressing, identified by the RCA Indianapolis markings within the runouts, with STERLING mastering marks present on both sides. A strong Lou Reed album from the mid-1980s, New Sensations includes I Love You, Suzanne, My Red Joystick, New Sensations, My Friend George and Doin' The Things That We Want To. The existing paper inner sleeve is present and shows some age-related toning and handling wear.

Condition

Sleeve: VG+
The sleeve is graded VG+. It presents very well overall, retaining strong artwork and a clean appearance. There is some light age-related toning together with minor handling, edge and corner wear consistent with its age. There are no major creases or significant structural issues visible. The rear is particularly well preserved, with the artwork and printed information remaining clear and attractive. A vintage $4.00 retail price sticker remains attached to the upper-right corner of the front sleeve.

Vinyl: EX
The vinyl is graded EX and presents very cleanly, with only minimal signs of previous handling and play. Both original black RCA Victor labels remain clean and well presented.

Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition assessment.
