Description

A superb 2021 Music On Vinyl pressing of Bachman-Turner Overdrive – Collected, featuring 22 tracks across two heavyweight 180-gram vinyl records. Issued as part of Music On Vinyl's acclaimed Collected series, this compilation brings together the band's greatest recordings from 1973 to 1996, presenting their unmistakable blend of hard rock, blues rock and powerful guitar-driven songwriting. The album is housed in a handsome gatefold sleeve featuring the distinctive BTO cogwheel artwork, together with retrospective liner notes and photographs. The collection includes some of the most recognisable rock recordings of the 1970s, including You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet, Takin' Care Of Business, Let It Ride, Roll On Down The Highway, Not Fragile and Hey You. Alongside the major hits are excellent deeper cuts, including Blue Collar, Little Gandy Dancer, Down To The Line, Lookin' Out For #1 and Shotgun Rider. Formed by Randy Bachman following his departure from The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive became one of Canada's most successful rock exports, combining memorable guitar riffs with an exceptionally tight rhythm section. The compilation provides an excellent overview of the band's catalogue, closing with their interpretation of House Of The Rising Sun. A particularly attractive double-LP edition, with both the gatefold sleeve and vinyl grading EX+.

Condition

Sleeve: EX+
