The A1\/B5\/C2\/D1 combination is particularly close to the matrices found on the earliest UK issues, while this version is generally catalogued as a 1976 UK repress. The album is housed in the celebrated die-cut New York tenement sleeve, designed by Peter Corriston, with the building’s windows revealing different images beneath depending on the position of the internal artwork. Originally released in 1975, Physical Graffiti brought together new recordings with material developed during earlier Led Zeppelin sessions and became one of the defining double albums of the 1970s. Across its four sides are some of the band’s most important recordings, including Kashmir, Trampled Under Foot, In My Time Of Dying, Ten Years Gone, The Rover, Houses Of The Holy and In The Light.
